We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Matt’s place! The neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet yet a short drive to the beach or the boardwalk/pier. The private hot tub in the backyard is an added bonus as well as the fire pit and outdoor deck. We had plenty of room for our family of four and our kids loved staying in the added bedroom in the back. The open concept layout is perfect for the first floor— we were able to use the TV as a family room and play area and then the kitchen and attached dining area for eating. Very much felt like a home away from home for our family. We can’t wait to go back next year!

Matt is exactly the kind of person the world needs more of. He truly honors family traditions, making our stay feel meaningful and connected. His hospitality was outstanding—responsive, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful every step of the way. Both homes on the property were beautifully furnished, spotless, and full of surprises. Our master bedroom was absolutely spectacular, featuring a soaking clawfoot tub and a sauna right off the bathroom porch. Both houses had their own hot tubs and fire pits, and best of all, our family was staying less than 20 feet away in another stunning home owned by Matt. This made spending time together effortless and special. In short, Matt isn’t just a great host—he’s a remarkable human being who turns vacations into unforgettable family retreats. Highly recommend, and truly hope the world sees many more Matts like him!

We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it! The hosts helped me out to surprise my partner with birthday flowers and snacks pre-set in the room ahead of arrival. Very quick response times and a great little spot to stay. We loved everything!

Lovely spot. Well maintained and easy access to the beach. Great responsive hosts. Note, this is truly a cottage and it fits no more than 2 people in a compact but useful space.

We had a wonderful stay at Tyler and Isabella’s place. The location was close to all of the places in downtown Portland. We were able to walk to all of the places in the old port and downtown. The apartment was very comfortable for staying an extended time period. We would definitely select this location again or any of their other locations.

We had a great stay at Isabella and Tyler’s! This place was exactly how it was described. They had all the necessities, it was squeaky clean, which is very important for me! The bed was very comfortable, it was like sleeping on clouds. The outdoor area is also very nice. And the sauna, best thing ever! Tyler was very responsive too! I would definitely recommend this place to everyone and if we ever decide to come back we will definitely stay here again. 10/10!

This was a cute apartment within walking distance of the beach! My friends and I stayed for the weekend and we enjoyed the beach, the pier, and the hot tub!

Isabella and Tyler's cabins are perfectly situated, beautifully designed and built, and have ridiculously comfortable beds. The fire pit area is very nicely done and the sauna that Tyler built is incredible and a must-use while staying with them. I was sad that my stay here was so short and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in the area. Isabella and Tyler were gracious hosts, who responded very quickly, provided tons of local insights, and were pleasantly accommodating throughout our stay. I look forward to returning here one day.

We were booked for two nights and loved it so much we ended up staying for four! Perfect, cozy little cabin in a quiet and picturesque location with shared BBQ and fire pits (which we made full use of!). About 45 mins from Acadia National Park so ideal if you want to be away from the crowds, but within easy distance to visit. Walking distance from the beach and near a ton of cute spots to check out by car. Check in was painless and Isabella and Tyler were great hosts! We will be back!

This newly-renovated, beautiful, and well-stocked apartment is conveniently located in a historic area of Portland with many restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and sites and parks close by. The neighborhood is wonderfully diverse. And the apartment is very clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Hosts, Matt & Isabella, were friendly, kind, prompt and responsive, and went well out of their way to help us. We loved our stay, would highly recommend (to all who can handle stairs), and hope to return!
